Three Rules I Learned for a Good Logo
At the end of this blog article you’ll learn 3 rules that, if met, form a good logo.
1. A Logo Should Be Appropiate
What I understand from this is that a logo should make sense for the type of business it is representing.
2. A Logo Should Be Memorable
What I understand from this is that a logo should make an impression in the viewers mind so that it will be remembered later on.
3. A Logo Should Be Simple
What I understand from this is that a logo should be able to work in a lot of different dimension and context. E.g. large billboards, websites, favicons, business cards, etc.
I learned these principles from this video by The Futur Youtube Channel. They quoted the designer Ziggy Javier as the quote source.
Very nice video, it’s part of a real client branding design series.
